Overview of Purelab

Pure Lab a Pure Health Group company, operates and manages the largest network of laboratories in the region, including the largest network of ISO Accredited laboratories – currently totalling over 160 laboratories across the UAE. Several of our laboratories are also CAP and AABB (for blood transfusion services) accredited. It is a comprehensive laboratory operation that supports both the public and private sectors by providing the largest in-house lab test menu. Pure Lab leverages economies of scale with its high volume of tests (over 25 million per year) and runs an agile operation that ensures accurate, reliable and timely diagnostics, delivered to its customers.

Pure Lab’s diagnostics network is at the forefront of conducting public screening programmes and population health management and has commendably spearheaded the COVID-19 screening efforts in the UAE by implementing state-of-the-art automated technology. Pure Lab utilizes state-of-the-art facilities and fully automated systems for both COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 operations. This helps achieve higher efficiency, consistency and faster turnaround times.

Within the diverse specialties of laboratory services, Pure Lab also manages the Federal New-born Screening Program. The new-born screening program has been implemented by the Ministry of Health and Prevention to screen new-born babies for certain harmful or potentially fatal disorders that are not apparent at birth. The main objective of the new-born screening program is to detect these disorders at an early stage to manage these conditions, improve healthcare outcomes and quality of life for these babies. Additionally Pure Lab provides residency and visa screening laboratory services by partnering up with internationally accredited visa screening centres located throughout the entire U.A.E.
