Dr. Farooq Ghani has extensive experience managing clinical laboratories in the United States, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, with a proven record of leading diagnostic laboratories to success in competitive US and international markets.

He has held leadership and consultation positions at Boston University Medical Center, Hartford Hospital in Connecticut, New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center in New York, and served as Clinical Director at Bayer Healthcare in New York. Dr. Ghani later served as Chief of Service in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Aga Khan University Hospital in Pakistan, one of the largest reference laboratories in the region.

Dr. Ghani earned his MBBS in Karachi, Pakistan, and trained in pathology at Boston University Medical Center, USA. He completed his fellowship in pathology and laboratory medicine in Boston and received his PhD in pathology from Boston University. He is a US Board-certified pathologist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists, United Kingdom (FRCPath).
Dr. Ghani has published extensively in reputable international peer-reviewed scientific journals, authored textbooks, been invited as an esteemed speaker at numerous international scientific meetings worldwide, and served as the team leader for College of American Pathologists inspections in the Middle East.
