Growth Hormone 90min

General Info:

Description:

Growth hormone deficiency (GHD) is a medical condition where the body doesn’t produce enough growth hormone (GH), from pituitary which is essential for growth, development, and metabolism. At 90 minutes into the insulin tolerance testing (ITT), the accuracy for diagnosing Growth hormone deficiency was less in the prepubertal group and more in the adolescent group. These test help clinicians determine if a person has GHD and its severity, guiding treatment decisions such as GH replacement therapy.
