Description:

Lobster, a prevalent seafood, may trigger allergies through oral consumption, causing oral allergy, or occupational exposure in the seafood industry, leading to occupational allergy. Symptoms encompass oral allergy, contact dermatitis, respiratory issues, and anaphylactic reactions, indicative of IgE-mediated hypersensitivity disorders. This test detects specific IgE antibodies involved in such allergic reactions.
