Mint, a perennial herb, is known to show IgE-mediated reactions and extensive cross reactivity. Food allergy, cutaneous allergy, Stomatitis, cheilitis, glossitis, gingivitis, perioral dermatitis, occupational allergic dermatitis, menthol-induced asthma and immediate hypersensitivity are reported as part of allergic manifestation in sensitized individuals. This test detects specific IgE antibodies involved in causing allergic reactions.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
