Mucor racemosus are anaerobic zygote fungi and is found to be major risk factor for developing upper and lower respiratory diseases. They contribute to (IgE)-mediated sensitization presenting as minor to severe hypersensitivity reactions, including asthma, allergic urticaria, allergic fungal rhinosinusitis or hypersensitivity pneumonia. This test detects specific IgE antibodies involved in causing such allergic reactions.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
