Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) induces allergic reactions via wind-pollinated, pollen grains, entering the body through the upper respiratory tract, oral cavity mucosa or eyes. This trigger type 1 allergic reactions presenting as allergic rhinitis, conjunctivitis, atopic eczema, asthma and pollen food allergy syndrome. This test detects specific IgE antibodies involved in causing such allergic reactions.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
