Nettle (Urtica dioica) is a fast-growing perennial. Its pollen acts as an important aeroallergen capable of inducing IgE-mediated reactions. Allergic reactions commonly manifest as asthma, allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis.  Occupational sensitization is also known to happen. This test detects specific IgE antibodies involved in causing such allergic reactions.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
