Pecan trees can release highly allergenic pollen grains that are known to increase incidence of hay fever in sensitized individuals. Type 1 IgE mediated reaction can present as rhinosinusitis, asthma, allergic rhinitis, contact dermatitis, urticaria and rarely anaphylaxis. This test provides details of target IgE antibody and measures immune status of the individual.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
