Lemon fruit, mainly used in juices and cooking, may sometimes result in food allergies. Cases of severe allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, atopic dermatitis and anaphylaxis have been reported with lemon hypersensitivity. This test detects specific IgE antibodies involved in allergic diseases, helping identify triggering allergens causing such allergic reactions.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
