Dr. Rawya Al-Dhaheri is a distinguished healthcare leader with over 28 years of experience in medical laboratories and healthcare operations.
She currently serves as the Executive Director of Operations at PureLab, where she leads the operations of both the Reference Laboratory and the South Laboratories.
Dr Rawya holds a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Glasgow, UK, as well as advanced qualifications in healthcare administration and biological sciences from institutions in the USA and the UAE.
Her career includes senior leadership roles within SEHA Laboratories, where she played an essential role in advancing laboratory medicine and operational excellence.
Her contributions have been recognised through numerous prestigious awards, including the Transformation Excellence Award, the Remarkable Emirati Women Award, and recognition as one of the Top 10 Employees by the Abu Dhabi Excellence Program, which awarded her the Chairman of the Executive Council Medal in 2015.
She has also received the SEHA Medal Champions, Best Employee in Field Work, and SEHA Best 100 Employees awards.
In addition to her leadership roles, Dr. Rawya is a certified internal auditor for ISO standards and serves as a reviewer for medical and biomedical journals. With deep expertise in clinical science, operations management, and healthcare leadership, she continues to drive innovation and quality in laboratory services across the UAE.
