Description:

The serum aldolase test is employed for the detection of tissue injuries in muscles, liver, kidneys, or the heart. There are three subclasses of aldolase expressed in different organs: aldolase A, B, and C. Healthcare professionals utilize this test to diagnose various conditions, such as skeletal muscle trauma, polymyositis, infectious mononucleosis, viral or auto-immune hepatitis, and osteosarcoma.
