Post HSCT transplant chimerism testing examines the effectiveness of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation by monitoring the engraftment proportion of viable donor cells compared to remaining recipient cells in the patient.
The Chimerism-Donor test is used to assess a HSCT donor’s genotype and compare it to a recipient’s genotype. It is performed prior to allogenic hematopoietic stem cell transplant. It is a onetime order.
