HLA Flow T and B cell Crossmatch

General Info:

Description:

Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) Flow T and B Cell Crossmatching in Organ Transplantation involves evaluating recipient IgG antibodies against donor T and B lymphocytes with the help of flow cytometry assays, a highly precise pre-transplantation immunological workup adopted in solid organ transplantation. This study identifies antibodies indicating potential rejection risk, assessing the extent of donor-recipient immune compatibility to minimize transplant rejection.

Important notes: Crossmatches are by appointment only. Please email or call the lab.

This test order requires a sample from the solid organ transplant recipient and a sample from the prospective donor as indicated above. Samples must be dispatched to the lab immediately as they must be processed within 48 hours (about 2 days).
