The IgE test for Aspergillus fumigatus is used to detect fungal infectious diseases like allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA). Fungal sensitization occurs mainly through hypersensitivity to inhaled airborne conidia, leading to allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis or asthma exacerbations. This test is used to identify aspergillus sensitization and helps healthcare providers identify A. fumigatus infections.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
