Description:

Aspergillus terreus, a fungus extensively used in medical and industrial purposes, may sensitize individuals to its proteins, leading to type 1 hypersensitivity reactions upon exposure and the production of IgE antibodies. Gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms, cutaneous symptoms such as itching and hives, and anaphylaxis are seen. Healthcare professionals use this test to determine allergic status and guide allergen-specific immunotherapy.

 

Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
