The IgE allergy test to β-Lactoglobulin (BLG) is used for the diagnosis and management of a patient’s allergy to cow milk. When its structure alters and IgE antibody binding happens, BLG is termed Bos d 5. Healthcare professionals use this test to identify specific allergies to β-Lactoglobulin in allergic individuals and especially in infants and guide their management.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
