An IgE test for buckwheat is used to detect allergic reactions caused by eating buckwheat, inhaling a buckwheat pillow, or direct contact with buckwheat. Hence, healthcare professionals use this test to identify buckwheat sensitization and allergies. They also use this test to advise the patients about possible ways to prevent the allergy.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
