Careless Weeds are common weedy herbs that grow as climbing shrubs and produce flowers that are wind-pollinated or insect-pollinated. Pollens are potential allergens leading to sensitization and causing type 1 hypersensitivity reactions. Upon subsequent exposure, these antibodies trigger the release of histamine, causing rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, or anaphylaxis in rare instances. The test detects elevated IgE levels in affected individuals.

Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
