Chestnut is a widely distributed tree known to produce profuse, highly mobile pollen that spreads vigorously in the environment. Pollen exposure can happen through inhalation or direct exposure. Individuals with suspected chestnut allergies are recommended by healthcare professionals to test IgE levels for diagnosis and recommend suggestions to prevent allergic responses.
