It can mainly induce food allergens, leading to Type 1 IgE hypersensitivity and causing gastrointestinal symptoms such as pain, bloating, vomiting, anaphylaxis, and atopic dermatitis. IgE estimation helps healthcare professionals in diagnosis, symptomatic treatment, immunotherapy, and advising to restrict food consumption of chickpea products.
