The IgE allergy corn test is used for the diagnosis and management of patients with corn allergies. Allergy to inhaled corn dust causes respiratory reactions and contact dermatitis. Corn Lipid Transfer Protein (LTP) is the main molecule that triggers the IgE reaction. By measuring IgE sensitization, healthcare professionals can directly assess the sensitization, facilitating prompt and effective intervention.

Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
