Lentils are edible seeds used in soups and salads. Lentils are implicated in certain types of allergic reactions to pediatric food. Ingestion of cooked lentils has been reported to cause oral allergy syndrome, angioedema, urticaria, asthma and anaphylaxis. This test detects IgE antibodies involved in allergic diseases and identifies triggering allergens causing allergic reactions.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
