Loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) belongs to the Rosaceae family that is known to produce allergens which can cross-react with Birch family pollen. Allergy may result from direct sensitization through the gastrointestinal tract or primary sensitization to pollen, causing oral and systemic symptoms. This test detects specific IgE antibodies involved in causing such allergic reactions.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
