Mango allergy often presents as immediate hypersensitivity, with additional common manifestations including pollen-food allergy syndrome, oral allergy syndrome, and contact dermatitis triggered by mango peel. Cross-reactivity with other plant foods and pollen allergens further contributes to varied allergic presentations. This test detects specific IgE antibodies involved in causing such allergic reactions.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
