Mosquito bites can trigger allergies as cutaneous reactions that appear during and after the mosquito biting. These allergic reactions include local and systemic, predominantly involving immunoglobulin E. triggering cutaneous allergic reactions or as asthma or as rhinoconjunctivitis that are caused by somatic allergens. This test detects specific IgE antibodies involved in causing such allergic reactions.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
