Olive trees are native mediterranean trees. Olive fruits are a commonly implicated global agricultural and dietary resource. Olive is known to induce Type 1 hypersensitivity reaction on exposure through ingestion or dermal contact. Dermal reactions are commonly present as allergic contact urticaria and dermatitis. This test detects specific IgE antibodies involved in causing such allergic reactions.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
