IgE Allergy, Peach Test

General Info:

Description:

Peach allergy can be caused through oral ingestion. Type 1 allergic reactions to peach allergen sensitization may include symptoms of oral allergy syndrome, systemic gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, anaphylaxis and sometimes severe asthma. IgE Allergy, Peach test detects specific IgE antibodies involved in causing such allergic reactions.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
