Peanuts contain allergens belonging to diverse protein families causing Type 1 IgE mediated cross-reactions among different members of the legume families. Peanut allergies usually begin in childhood. It can induce clinical symptoms such as nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, angioedema or urticaria wheezing and dyspnea. IgE Allergy, Peanut test detects specific IgE antibodies involved in causing such allergic reactions.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
