IgE Allergy, Perennial rye test detects serum IgE levels in individuals who are exposed to pollens of perennial rye a commonly grown grass as lawn. Grass pollens such as Lol p 1 and Lol p 5 induce Type 1 hypersensitivity reactions such as allergic rhinitis, epidemic thunderstorm asthma and allergic rhino conjunctivitis substantially affecting children and sensitized individuals.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
