Description:

The sesame seed allergy test is conducted to assess sensitivity and allergenicity to food sesame seed (Sesamum indicum), commonly used in snacks, seasonings and oil. Allergic reactions to sesame seeds can induce urticarial, angioedema, and gastrointestinal symptoms in affected individuals. The allergen responsible for these reactions belongs to the oleosin molecule group. Healthcare professionals utilize this test for the diagnosis of sensitivity and allergenicity, providing guidance for allergen-specific immunotherapy.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
