The wool allergy test assesses sensitivity and allergenicity to the inhalant aeroallergen of wool by occupational or environmental exposure or to the insects on the wool fabric. Allergic reactions to wool can induce respiratory symptoms like cough, dyspnea, rhinoconjunctivitis. This test is used for diagnosis of sensitivity and allergenicity, guiding allergen-specific immunotherapy.
Important note: Minimum volume is 1 mL and 0.5 mL for every additional allergen.
