Description:

MDx STD 14 PCR tests are molecular diagnostic tests used for the detection of listed 14 common sexually transmitted infections using polymerase chain reaction technology identified by detecting the presence of DNA or RNA from sexually transmitted pathogens. The test is highly sensitive; detecting even low levels of pathogens, allowing for early detection of these STIs and early treatment.

MDx STD 14 PCR includes: Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Mycoplasma genitalium, Mycoplasma hominis, Trichomonas vaginalis, Ureaplasma urealyticum, Ureaplasma parvum, Herpes simplex virus type 1, Herpes simplex virus type 2, Varicella-zoster virus, Cytomegalovirus, Chlamydia trachomatis LGV, Treponema pallidum, Haemophilus ducreyis
