Food Intolerance (specific IgG against food antigens)
Food intolerance tests (220+) are diagnostic tests that identify potential food intolerance or sensitivities for more than 220 commonly consumed food entities. These tests analyze IgG antibodies or inflammatory markers to assess immune reaction to specific foods.
Antinuclear Antibody screen (ANA)
Antinuclear Antibody screen test is used for detecting antinuclear antibodies, proteins produced by the immune system to combat foreign entities such as viruses and bacteria. Having a few antinuclear antibodies present in one’s bloodstream is normal. Elevated levels may indicate an autoimmune disorder such as systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, myositis, psoriatic arthritis.
Mitochondrial Antibody screen
The mitochondrial antibody test detects antibodies targeting mitochondria in the bloodstream. These antibodies are often found in individuals with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), indicating liver damage. The test’s primary purpose is to diagnose PBC, distinguishing it from cirrhosis caused by other factors like blockage, viral hepatitis, or alcohol-related damage.
IgE Allergy Test, Wool
The wool allergy test assesses sensitivity and allergenicity to the inhalant aeroallergen of wool by occupational or environmental exposure or to the insects on the wool fabric. Allergic reactions to wool can induce respiratory symptoms like cough, dyspnea, rhinoconjunctivitis. This test is used for diagnosis of sensitivity and allergenicity, guiding allergen-specific immunotherapy. Important note: Minimum […]
IgE Allergy Test, Tomato
The IgE allergy test for tomatoes evaluates sensitivity and allergenicity to tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) mainly triggered by its allergen Sola I. Some individuals may experience oral allergy syndrome upon ingestion. Cross-reactivity is also noted with other grass pollen and birch pollen species. This test is to diagnose sensitivity and provide guidance for allergen-specific immunotherapy. Important […]
IgE Allergy Test, Timothy Grass
The IgE allergy test for Timothy grass assesses sensitivity and allergenicity to the Timothy grass. The aeroplant allergens from grass and pollen belonging to the Phl p group are responsible for triggering allergic reactions, clinically manifesting as allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, atopy, and asthma. This test is used to determine allergic status and provide guidance for allergen-specific […]
IgE Allergy Test, Thyme
The IgE allergy test for thyme is utilized to detect sensitivity and allergenicity to the herb derived from thyme. Ingestion commonly leads to symptoms such as angioedema, anaphylaxis, and contact dermatitis. Cross-reactivity is observed with other Labiatae species. Healthcare professionals employ this test to diagnose sensitivity, establish allergic status, and provide guidance for allergen-specific immunotherapy. […]
IgE Allergy Test, Tarragon
The IgE allergy test for tarragon detects sensitivity to the spice derived from tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus). Inhalation may cause rhinoconjunctivitis and asthma, while ingestion leads to symptoms like urticaria, anaphylaxis, and gastrointestinal issues. Cross-reactivity with mugwort is common. Healthcare professionals use this test to diagnose allergies, determine allergic status, and guide allergen-specific immunotherapy. Important note: […]
IgE Allergy, Persimmon
IgE Allergy, Persimmon test detects serum IgE levels in individuals presenting allergic reactions after consumption of persimmon fruit. IgE binding to persimmon proteins has been detected and is implicated in causing type 1 hypersensitivity reaction. Incidences of allergy are rare, however few instances present with oral allergy syndrome, atopic reaction, and cross-reactive allergies with a […]
IgE Allergy, Perennial rye
IgE Allergy, Perennial rye test detects serum IgE levels in individuals who are exposed to pollens of perennial rye a commonly grown grass as lawn. Grass pollens such as Lol p 1 and Lol p 5 induce Type 1 hypersensitivity reactions such as allergic rhinitis, epidemic thunderstorm asthma and allergic rhino conjunctivitis substantially affecting children […]
